I am pleased to present my new book "Syria Between Division and the Loss of the Compass - The Struggle of Identities and Interests in the Post-War Era", which consists of 184 pages in medium size. In this book, I address the existential challenges facing Syria after years of devastating war, and I attempt to provide a comprehensive vision of what Syria’s future could look like.

At a historic turning point, as Syria emerges from the shadows of war, the most pressing question remains: How can this country, which has suffered the horrors of war, find its way toward stability and peace? The challenges Syria faces in the post-war era go beyond political and military boundaries, reaching deep issues such as national identity, the rights of minorities, and foreign military presence.

In this book, I provide a thorough analysis of the current situation, focusing on critical issues such as the Kurdish issue, which remains pivotal in shaping the future of Syria. I emphasize that the solutions to these issues are complex, but achievable if there is true political will and a national consensus among all parties.

Today, Syria needs a genuine reconciliation that includes all of its political, sectarian, and ethnic components. A political settlement can only be achieved through transitional justice and by broadening political participation to include all political forces, including those that have been marginalized. Furthermore, Syria's reconstruction cannot take place in isolation from regional and international strategic alliances.

"Syria Between Division and the Loss of the Compass" is not merely a historical or political analysis; it is a call for deep reflection on the future, offering hope that Syria can rise again, provided there is sincere will to achieve peace and justice.

This is a message to all who care about the future of this country: despite all it has endured, Syria still has the opportunity to rise once again. The ball is now in the court of everyone, both inside and outside, to achieve the desired stability.
